The following photo attached is an advertisement flyer I found at a gas station near my house. The objective for the graphic designer was simple: create a flyer to advertise cigarettes while catching the reader's attention. A basic form of propaganda. By adding a set of red lips and a phrase "Better Kissers," this vulgar sexy poster is a form of American Kitsch.
What attracted me to this flyer was actually seeing the term: "Better Kissers" associated with cigarettes. We all know tobacco can not only damage our lungs, but our teeth and mouth. However, adding a bit of vulgar to piece of paper, we can easily fall off the basics.
